If Royal mail or the delivery company delivers the device to you late due to the delivery company’s fault (EG: there was a delay in their logistics which caused the device to arrive late) and it is not a situation where the delivery company attempted to deliver to your address but no one answered , or the address you provided was not complete or correct, then you can contact us and
- your start date can be moved to the day that your delivery was made.
- Or the hire period missed due to the delay can be refunded back to you at the end of your hire period after the returned device has been received.
But if the delivery company attempted to deliver the package on time but one one answered , or the delivery company was unable to access the property or the address you provided was not complete/valid, then the above options would not be available. You would need to make arrangement for a redelivery of the package.
