This terms and Conditions is set as an agreement on the conditions on which we (Movinginternet.co.uk, part of Lime Enterprise Limited , Company No. 07632577) will provide the rental of wifi internet device (router, dongle, mifi) through Movinginternet.co.uk (the company) or through our sister website.

The hire contract is between you and Lime Enterprise Limited , U.K registered number 07632577 having its Limited company registered office at 20-22 WENLOCK ROAD, LONDON, ENGLAND, N1 7GU and offering this service through its brand Moving internet UK (Movinginternet.co.uk).

By placing your, hiring through/from Movinginternet.co.uk, you agree to be bound by the terms and condition of this agreement. If you do not agree with our terms and condition or terms of service, please do not continue to use the website and do not rent any device from us.

We reserve the right to change, update, modify, amend this rental agreement at any time, without notifying you.

Service offered

Our company provides internet router devices for hire. The wifi internet device/router is supplied with a power plug, an instruction paper (guide) and unlimited data that comes included in the hire is provided through an internet service provider (Like EE ,Vodafone, Three) that makes it possible to access the internet. As we continue to seek ways to broaden the range of data networks we work with, we may assign you a device that runs on a different data network apart from the ones listed here.

We cannot guarantee the device will operate uninterrupted or without any error , or that it will meet all of your needs. We can not be held responsible for the quality, speed reliability of the device or the internet access.

We can not guarantee every electronic device you have can connect with the router.

The data suppliers/internet service providers have their own policies , terms and conditions for internet usage and we have no control or responsibility over their terms and conditions and when these are changed/updated by the internet suppliers.

We and the internet data supplier assigned to the device/devices issued to you reserve the right to disconnect/stop the data supplied to your assigned device(device issued to you) with or without advance notice.

We do not guarantee that all items required for the use of the internet access router will be in the package when it arrives with to you. It is your responsibility to inform us on the day of delivery if any item missing from the package . 

Access to age restricted contents

Your assigned device may have access to age restricted contents un-blocked(meaning any one using the device can have access to age restricted contents) or make have the access blocked (meaning any one using the device would not have access to age restricted contents) by default.

The use of the hired device

You agree that the device would be taken care of and reasonable care would be take when handling or using the device. You are not allowed to and should not

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any part of the hire or block/stop your data access. We may or may not notify you of the cancellation in advance.

Delivery Policy

It is your responsibility to provide us with a valid UK address where the router would be posted to.

Device(s) would be dispatched with the aim of it arriving at your delivery address on your start of hire date (date you provided as the start of hire date) or 1 to 3 days before your start of hire date ( depending on resources availability and as a courtesy when possible) .

We do not guarantee the hired device will arrive in advance or on your start of hire date, as the delivery process and logistics can experience delays. We use a delivery service company for the delivery of devices to addresses, we do not control the time of day when the device would arrive at the destination or any possible delay that may occur through the delivery company.

We do not guarantee you will have internet access from your start of hire date or that the internet device you hired would be available for you to use from your start of hire date.

It is your responsibility to ensure you or someone would be available at your delivery address to accept the device package that has been dispatched to your delivery address.

If your package(s) have been delivered to a local collection point because no one answered the door or the delivery company couldn’t gain access to the building when the delivery company tried to deliver the package, it is your responsibility to make arrangements to collect the package. Every day the hired device/package remains at the collection point or storage location of the delivery company would be treated as part of your hire period. If you do not pick up the package/hired device from the delivery company’s collection point or storage location , and the item remains there beyond your hire period, this would be treated as an extended hire and the cost of any extra days/extended period that the device remained with the delivery company will be deducted from your refundable deposit until the day when the delivery company returns the device back to us.

Free delivery offer: Free delivery offer would only apply to hires/orders that meet the required conditions set by us. Free delivery offer that is based on amount spent would exclude the refundable deposit amount in the calculations for meeting the free delivery threshold. You would be required to pay the delivery charge and all courier associated cost if

Refundable deposit

When you place an order to rent a portable internet device, a security deposit would be added to your balance at the checkout stage. The deposit could be used to cover the cost of any damages, loss of any item included in the package or late return of the device or any extra cost/charges incurred in relation to your hire .

If the device is returned on time and in good working order, your deposit will be paid back into the same account you used in paying for your order. If not, cost will be deducted from your refundable deposit accordingly.

Returned devices takes up to 5 working days to get to us. Refundable deposit is issued within 10 working days after we have received the returned device.

We shall be under no liability to pay any compensation or addition payment/amount beyond refunding your refundable deposit if your refundable deposit is refunded back to you late.

Rental/transaction charges and handling

Rental fees: Hire/renting fees charged is for the use of the device and would start from the start of hire date you provided when you placed your order until the date end of your hire date. If the device is returned late, the your hire period would be considered as extended hire up to the date it was sent back to us (even if the device was not used during the extra days).

Late fees(late return of device): Device must be posted back (dropped off with the postal/courier company) to us on the end of hire date. Any late return will be treated as extended hire and charged at a minimum daily hire extension fee of £10 per day, per device plus a £10 admin charge for administration fee relating to the late return of the device. Hence if you wish to extend your hire, it is your responsibility to email us at before the end of hire date, and an online payment invoice (which needs to be paid before the end of your hire) would be sent out to you. These fees would be deducted from your refundable deposit.

Transaction Charge: We use a payment processing company to handle the processing of payments. A none refundable transaction fee is charged for each transaction processed by the payment processing company that handles the transaction. So If you decide to cancel your hire within the time period that is valid for a refund , the transaction fee charged by the payment processing company and any other cost associated with processing your transaction would be deducted from any amount that would be refunded back to you.

Payment card details: We do not store the card details from any customer. Payments are handled by trusted payment processing companies (Paypal, Stripe) used by millions of internet companies and individuals.

Returning the wifi device and Late return of device

You are responsible for the return of the wifi device. The device should be returned by using the courtesy pre-paid (FREE) return postage envelope that is supplied in your package and dropped of at the at the service counter of any UK post office or popped into any United Kingdom post box.

If the courtesy return label has been misplaced/lost/damaged, it is your responsibility to contact us to get the address to post the device and accessories back to us and you will be responsible for all charges/cost for posting/sending the wifi device and charger/power plug back to us. The cost of returning the hired device/items (and returning it on time) would be covered by you.

If your forget to post the device back to us on time or you did not post the device on your end of hire date (even if it was not being used during these extra days ) you would be charged for the extended period/days you had the device with you (minimum of £10 per day plus an admin fees).

Cancellation and refunds

No refund (except your refundable deposit) is given if your hire is for 1 to 3 days hire and you cancel your order after your assigned device has been dispatched(sent/posted).

If you are eligible for any refund, the following would be deducted from the refund amount
– £10 Admin charge
– Delivery Charge (even if you got a promotional free delivery)
– Transaction fees charged by the payment processing company
Refunds are issued 1 to 10 working days after we have received the returned device and the cancellation has been processed. The transaction fee charged by the payment processing company and any other cost associated with processing your transaction or associated with your refund would be deducted from any amount that would be refunded back to you.

Delivery delay caused by logistic issue after a device(s) has been dispatched

A device is considered delayed if the delivery or attempted delivery of your assigned device was made after your start of hire date. If the delivery company/person attempted to deliver your assigned device on or before your start date, but no one was available to accept the package , this would be considered as the device was delivered on time.

If the a delivery attempt was made “after your start date” and you had ordered before our last dispatch time at least 1 working day before your start of hire date, then this would be considered a late delivery, hence your hire period may be switched/downgraded to the next available lower number of days hire option we provide for the device hire package you had hired. Example: if you hired for 8 days, and your hire was delayed for 1 day, your hire would be reduced to a 7 days hire package ad the one day difference would be refunded back to your payment account at the end of your hire period after the returned device has been received. But if for example you hired a “1-3 days” package (1-3 days hire option is a bundled number of days hire) and your device was delayed for 1 day, there would be no refund for the 1 day difference because you would still be within the 1 to 3 days hire range period.

No compensation would be given for the delay apart for the value of the number of days hire eligible for (as explained above) difference for the package you hired, and this would be issued after the returned device has been received at the end of your hire period.

If you prefer to cancel your hire due to the delivery delay caused by the delivery company, you can do so by rejecting the package when it gets delivered to you and notifying us you have decided to cancel due to the late delivery by the delivery company used. Any eligible hire refund will be issued after the returned device has been received.

Delivery delay caused by your order being received after the last dispatch time

If the delivery of your assigned device would arrive after your start of hire date due to your order being received after our last dispatch time (as shown on our delivery information page ), then we would likely send you an email to notify you of when your device would be dispatched (this would be based on the process explained in our delivery information page).

If you decide not to proceed with the hire any longer, and you notify us before the device has been dispatched, then a full refund would be issued to you.

If you decide not to proceed with the hire any longer, and you notify us after the device has already been processed for dispatch, you would need to reject the package when it gets delivered to you. The cost of delivery, the non refundable transaction fee charged by the payment processing company we use for handling payments and any additional cost incurred in sending out the device would be deducted from your payment and the remaining would be refunded back to you after the returned device arrives back with us.

We reserve the right to cancel your hire either before or during your hire period.

Disclaimer

We cannot warrant the router will operate uninterrupted or without any error , work with every single gadget you have, be compatible with all your electronics or that it will meet all of your needs. We can not be held responsible for the quality, speed reliability of the device, the internet access or delay in your start of hire time.

We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

We have no liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, or direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to our employees negligence, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) to a maximum of the refund of the hire cost. We do not own the data supplied through the wifi device used and we have no liability for loss or damage caused by the proprietors ,operators or data suppliers thereof.

We reserve the right to change these rental terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any such changes will be displayed on this page of the Website. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any part of the Website and the services(including data supply to your assigned device/device hired to you) offered therein at any time without notice.

Complaint

If for any reason you’re not happy with the service, please
– send an email reply to your hire confirmation email (email containing your hire details, delivery process, how to return device, e.t.c ) to share your concerns.

You can also raise a complaint on behalf of someone else, as long as we get confirmation of consent from the person who placed the original order by
– the person notifying us by replying their hire confirmation email to notify us
– or confirming the delivery address plus the post code of the billing address in your email
and then providing

if a team member have not been able to resolve the issue in 5 working days, you can then request the issue gets handled by a manager.
