Your assigned device would arrive on your start of hire date(excluding public holidays) or may arrive 1 day in advance as a courtesy when possible. Please Note: Your order needs to be received before our last dispatch time and at least one working day (during weekdays) before your start of hire date for it to be dispatched for delivery on your start of hire date. We recommend you order 3 working days or more in advance.
If your start date is Sunday or Monday, and your order is received after our last dispatch time on Saturday, your assigned device would be dispatched on Monday to arrive Tuesday, and your start date would be moved to date the delivery company arrives at your address to deliver the device.Â
If your start date is on Sunday or Monday, and we receive your order before our last dispatch time on Saturday, your assigned device will be dispatched on Saturday through a next day delivery service to arrive on Sunday(for hire with a start date of Sunday) or on Monday for hires with start date of Monday.

Temporary internet devices are sent to the delivery address through a delivery/courier service company. Same day delivery is currently not available.
If the order is received before the last dispatch cut off time for the days, then it would be dispatched through a Next working day delivery service

Where possible a signature is obtained by the postman/woman delivering the package to your address. Any one at the address can sign for it.
If no one is available:Â
the delivery company would redirect the package to their storage collection point local to your delivery address for you to pick up the package from there, or to request a re-delivery through their website (details would be in the leaflet they would pass through your door or letter box).
OR you can contact us before you place your order for a local post office collection option, so that it can be delivered to your local post office for you to pickup by your start date.Â
For each day a device is kept beyond the end of hire date, that device would end up not being available for renting out to anyone else for the number of days of the delayed return.Â
The latest day your hired device(s) need to be posted back to us is on the actual day your hire ends. Late return would incur a daily late return fees plus an admin charge, even if the device was not being used during the late return period(please see late return section of our rental agreement page https://movinginternet.co.uk/rental-agreement-terms-condition/ )
Your refundable deposit (which gets added to their hire at the checkout/basket stage of your order) is refunded back to the same account you use in placing your order. The refund would be issued after you have posted the device back to us on time (takes up to 5 working days to get back to us) and we have tested it to ensure it is in a good working order. You should receive a refund notification email once the deposit has been refunded back to you.
Yes, you can get a temporary Wifi at home by renting a short term home internet router from our hire page.Â

Yes you can extend your hire as much as you require. If you find out you would need the hired device for longer than planned, you can easily extend your hire by using the hire extension guide included in the hire confirmation email you received after placing your order to extend the hire for as long as needed. Or you can send an email reply to your hire confirmation email (email received after placing your order) and the team would be happy to help you.
You can contact the customer service team through our contact page or send an email to info@movinginternet.co.uk to request for the hire confirmation email to be resent to you. Please ensure to provide details such as your start of hire date, delivery address , hire duration and billing post code , as this would be needed to verify you are who you say you are (for security reasons). Your hire confirmation email would then be sent to you.
We currently don’t issue refund for early return of devices. But you can hire for a short period of time, and contact us to extend your hire if you need it for longer.
You can contact us to ask us to check if there’s good coverage at the location you will be using the device and providing us with the post code of the location of where you would be using the device
But as standard, we check the internet coverage of the delivery address so that the best available network gets assigned to you. If none of the network we use have coverage at your delivery address location or there are network repairs or issues at the location which can affect your speed, we would most likely email you to notify you about this before we dispatch it.
If Royal mail or the delivery company delivers the device to you late due to the delivery company’s fault (EG: there was a delay in their logistics which caused the device to arrive late) and it is not a situation where the delivery company attempted to deliver to your address but no one answered , or the address you provided was not complete or correct, then you can contact us and
But if the delivery company attempted to deliver the package on time but one one answered , or the delivery company was unable to access the property or the address you provided was not complete/valid, then the above options would not be available. You would need to make arrangement for a redelivery of the package through the tracking detail page, and the delivery company would make another attempt to deliver the package. If the tracking page show the device is on route back to us, please contact the customer service team by replying your hire confirmation email (not payment receipt email) to explain and the team would be able to provide support.
Your package would include a “courtesy” Free return postage label and instruction (instructions also in your hire confirmation email) for posting the device back at the end of your hire.
If you misplace the return label, please contact us and we would provide you with an address to send the device back to.

The delivery company would normally pass a leaflet through your door with a guide on how to reschedule another delivery attempt (information would also be on the tracking web page) or collect it from the local delivery office.
